b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 Accountability and the still-ongoing 2022 Election didn't take a holiday over the Thanksgiving break. The Justice Department's newly-appointed independent Special Counsel, Jack Smith, wasted no time in taking over two major criminal probes into Donald Trump's theft of classified government documents and his role in the January 6 insurrection - - in a blunt court filing, Smith called out Trump's lawyers for lying in a hearing before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, which also did not go well for Team Trump. In Alaska, Democrat Mary Peltola won Alaska's sole Congressional seat, defeating Trump-endorsed former GOP Gov. Sarah Palin, and incumbent moderate GOP Senator Lisa Murkowski won re-election. Voters faced long lines in early voting in the U.S. Senate runoff in Georgia between Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) and Trump-endorsed Herschel Walker (R) next Tuesday. In Arizona, former TV newscaster and Trumpette Kari Lake (R) sued Maricopa County, falsely alleging that scattered polling place printer problems prevented voters from voting and electing her governor. Maricopa County certified the results amid a wave of threats from Trump supporters.
