The constant drip, drip, drip of increasingly damning information against Trump shores up a mountain of evidence that Trump directed a quid pro quo bribery scheme against Ukraine, conditioning military aid and other official acts in exchange for Ukraine launching public investigations into his 2020 political rival Joe Biden and a debunked theory that Ukraine, not Russia, interfered in the 2016 election. New testimony revealed that two Office of Management and Budget officials resigned over concerns that Trump's withholding of military aid to Ukraine was illegal. NYT reports Trump had already been briefed about the whistleblower complaint that kicked off the impeachment inquiry, long before he released the military aid.
