b"On today's 'BradCast':\\xa0 Successive 'atmospheric rivers' continue to drench California, causing widespread flooding, triggering mass evacuations, knocking out power and downing thousands of trees. NOAA reports that over just the last seven years, the U.S. has seen more than 122 extreme weather disasters that have caused more than one billion dollars in damage each, at a cost of more than a trillion dollars overall. Imagine if the US had spent that money on efforts to phase out fossil fuels and mitigate the worsening effects of the climate crisis. In New York, a federal judge says he regrets agreeing to the light prison sentence for Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, who pled guilty to multiple tax fraud charges, and is the only person from the company going to jail (so far).\\xa0 New reports show that lawyers for President Joe Biden recently discovered a 'small number of documents with classified markings' at an office he used after his term as Vice President, and immediately reported and returned them to the National Archives. Contrast that with Donald Trump's hoarding of hundreds of classified documents, his refusal to return them, then his defiance of a lawful subpoena to return them, and his attempts to lie about and conceal them from law enforcement.
