In New York Attorney General Letitia James' civil suit, in which a judge has already found Trump guilty of committing bank, tax and insurance fraud, Trump's former personal attorney and 'fixer' Michael Cohen testified that Trump directed him to falsely inflate the value of assets. In D.C., Trump's attorneys filed a flood of desperate motions seeking to delay Special Counsel Jack Smith's federal criminal case over Trump's incitement of the January 6 insurrection and his plot to steal the 2020 election.
