Hayes graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas and the University of San Francisco Law School.\\n\\nAs a self-described \\u201crecovering\\u201d tax attorney he spent considerable time and resources investigating alternatives to the income tax. Waggoner.\\n\\nKristen K. Waggoner serves as senior vice president of US legal advocacy, general counsel \\u2013 Arizona, with Alliance Defending Freedom. In this role, Waggoner supervises a team of more than 50 attorneys and legal staff who specialize in constitutional law and focus on religious freedom, sanctity of life, and marriage and family. Waggoner joined Alliance Defending Freedom in 2013.\\n\\nWaggoner has extensive experience in civil litigation, employment, education, nonprofit, and constitutional law. After clerking with Washington Supreme Court Justice Richard B. Sanders and interning with U.S. Representative Linda Smith, Waggoner joined Ellis, Li & McKinstry, a Seattle law firm, where she became a partner in 2004.
