Retired Deputy Commissioner for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, TOM MOORE
Tom Moore served on the Tennessee Highway Patrol as a Trooper, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and finally Deputy Commissioner.Tom spent many years learning the trade on "the road", supervised the Planning and Resource Division, served as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner of Safety, and helped create the department's Critical Incident Response Team (C.I.R.T.). His earliest memories are of the THP and police work. His father, (Big) Tom Moore was a State Trooper and TBI Special Agent.
