Tonight’s Main Topic: Staff Weekly Memos
JJ- www.johnsonmemo.blogspot.com Few key things: I try to save all staff emails and put them into my Friday Focus.  I follow the same format in my Friday focus and staff know that’s where all communications are.  By highlighting great things I notice throughout the week and sharing ideas from blogs, pins, and tweets I see those ideas spread to other teachers as I visit their classrooms after those blog posts.  My “Monday Musings” is an extra post each week that is not a necessary read for staff, but my chance to share and model with faculty  my professional reflections.  Thoughts on paper vs blog: I hate paper. The blog is searchable. I had them sign up for the email notification-you can check to see who signed up-print out a list, have the secretary remind those that didn’t sign up. Staff love the google calendar on there whenever they are scheduling things. Extra tabs for other resources for staff to refer back to (schedules, common links, etc.).
