Senegal National Soccer Team summoned 12 players plying their trade in France ahead of their AFCON QUALIFIER matches against Congo and Eswatini. The players in question will not be released for International duty as per agreement between presidents of French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs whole resolved not to release any of their players for games outside of Europe. According to Stephen Adams,The Senegalese Football Federation has challenged the French Football Federation (FFF) in a letter to release their players so that they participate in the final round of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.as it's stands Senegal has only 14 players from the 26 man squad that was announced and Head Coach Aliou Cisse will have to look for the replacements in the local league.
