After listening to this lesson, when you are asked a YES/NO question, you will be able to answer that question with either YES or NO in Korean.

\uc544\ub2c8\uc694. [aniyo] = No.
But in Korean, when people say \u201c\ub124\u201d, it is not the same as saying \u201cYes.\u201d in English. The same goes for \u201c\uc544\ub2c8\uc694\u201d too. This is because the Korean \u201c\ub124\u201d expresses your \u201cagreement\u201d to what the other person said. And \u201c\uc544\ub2c8\uc694\u201d expresses your \u201cdisagreement\u201d or \u201cdenial\u201d to what the other person said.
