And I'm excited to bring my guests Brendon from the master talk YouTube channel today to talk to you guys about Mastering the Art of public speaking. So Brendan, why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself to the audience.\\nBrenden Kumarasamy 0:35 \\nOf course, Dan, thanks for having me. So my name is Brenda, I'm the founder of master talk, which is a YouTube channel I started to help the world master the art of communication. And how I got started was when I was in university, I used to do these things called case competitions. So think of it like professional sports, but for nerds. So while other guys my age, were playing sports, like basketball, or baseball or soccer, I never really understood any of those things. What I did instead, is I applied the same competitive spirit, but to presentations. So for three years, I presented hundreds of times coached dozens of people on their communication skills. So when I graduated from university, and I started working in the corporate world, I just asked myself a question, which was how do I add more value to society? And then we found out that man, I've actually learned something I'm going to charge off in a new direction. Was there one particular moment or instance, where you said, Hey, the sports thing isn't for me, but I'm going to, I'm going to charge down this other path. was there a particular thing that triggered that inquiry?\\nBrenden Kumarasamy 2:27 \\nYeah, absolutely. I would say one thing that's been consistent throughout my life, Tony Robbins puts the best, I'll just summarize and explain from my point of view, what he means is his idea that the quality of your life is solely determined by the quality of the questions that you ask yourself. And what he means by this is that the people who are successful is how I see it anyways, the only difference is that they're willing to ask themselves hard questions about life very early on in life. So if you take me as an example, and that's the habit I recommend people take so that they make the decision to you know, pursue presentations, or anything that they care about, rather than what conventional..."
