Karly Newman has been navigating the challenges of MS for the past 21 years since developing symptoms at the age of 12. Though she’s experienced setbacks in her disease process, she’s become passionate about the power of lifestyle modifications to improve her quality on life an alleviate some of the symptoms of her disease. This has meant adapting often to find joy in different forms of movement, setting boundaries, seeking to find balance among life’s many demands, and more recently seeking support from the MS community. An avid backpacker, hiker and all around outdoor enthusiast, Karly hopes to move past her recent challenges with the disease and find a new stasis.
