He represented Bootle Schoolboys where he gathered interest from local clubs in Everton and Liverpool. Ste was also capped for England at Under 21 level, playing in the same teams as John Terry etc. He tells is what it was like to be a youngster at Liverpool in the same age group as Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen and what it felt like to play in the champions league with the club.
