Ryan is regarded by many as one of the finest Goalkeepers the city has produced, winning multiple trophies with Sunday league giants Campfield FC. Ryan has played for teams that include, Kingsley, Pineapple, AFC Liverpool and Bootle amongst others. Ryan had a spell in the professional game with Leeds United and also spent a few seasons over in America.
