Melissa Caccamo created the company Equi-SMART . It began as a sports massage therapy business and has branched out to offer multiple services to the equine industry. Focusing on preventative and maintenance care, Equi-SMART is the smart choice to bring out the best in you and your horse! Melissa has always made it an important part of her time with horses to learn as much about them as possible, searching out in-depth answers and explanations and striving to understand the equine inside and out.
Melissa's specific areas of interest include anatomy and nutrition. Upon completing her certification for Equine Sports Massage Therapy, Melissa continued her studies by attending multiple clinics, lectures and demonstrations at various locations as well as completing Equine Guelph’s online course for Equine Anatomy. She is looking forward to completing the Advanced course next. Furthermore, Melissa holds a certificate in a Guided Tour of Equine Anatomy, offered by the Ontario Veterinary College.
As an Equine Massage therapist Melissa uses the EquiSilver products in her treatments. She also offers the Nortev Flexineb is an equine inhalation mask for equine respiratory relief.
