President Biden denied reports that the DOJ is considering settling lawsuits with illegal immigrants separated from their families under the Trump administration’s zero-tolerance policy. Biden said settlement payments of $450,000 to illegal immigrants separated from their families are “not going to happen,” and called the report “garbage.” The VERY next day, the White House walked back the comments Biden made.
