New York Giants Weekly As of this moment the GMen are in the NFL Playoffs. They have nothing to play for this Sunday in Washington. They are not going to improve their home field situation. They can't get a better seeding. As a matter of fact there are only three things that can happen this weekend against their NFC East rivals and two of them are bad. A critical injury occurs The team has a good showing and creates momentum The team has a bad showing and creates locker room doubt This is not a throw-a-way game the Giants can afford to ignore. As a unit they have a lot to play for and this Sunday in DC is the place they have to play for it. With two playoff QB's going down last week with broken legs it gives one pause about the best way to approach the game this Sunday. A "win" is not paramount. A "good showing" is. If the Giants won handily and made it easy on their fans it wouldn't be the New York Giants. Giants fans should be used to taking the "hard road" and Tom McAlister talks about what the team has to do in order to be taken to the promised land. For Big Blue the defense that Jerry Reese built is the most consistent unit on the club and the key to post season success. Join Host Steven Van Over and New York Giants analyst Tom McAlister as they look at last weeks game and break down what has to happen on each unit for the club in order to improve. Washington is up next.
