Arizona State DT Renell Wren took time out of his preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft to talk with Connor Livesay. Renell Wren showcased his size and explosiveness at the highest of levels through two days in Mobile. Connor spoke with Wren for a few minutes before his informal interviews started at Senior Bowl week.  "It's been crazy man. Coming in, I felt like not many people were familiar with me, but now my phone is freezing because I'm getting so many calls and texts to come sit down with scouts" – DL Renell Wren at Reese's Senior Bowl Connor finally caught up with Renell for a more in-depth podcast and it was worth the wait. At 6'4" 315-lbs, 33 3/4" arms, and 9 7/8" hands and an insane first step (did we fail to mention the violent hands at the point of attack?) it's easy to forget there is a living, breathing, intriguing, intelligent young man driving that train. It doesn't take long as you listen to figure out this kid has his head screwed on tight and is going to handle the mental aspect of the NFL with aplomb. After the interview catch up on his official [NFL Draft player profile.](https://nfldraft.sportstalkline.com/nfl-draft/profiles/news/1776/dt-renell-wren-nfl-draft-profile-arizona-state.html/) Livesay keeps it real, puts things in perspective and gives you an “up close” picture of a “top NFL Draft Prospect” for 2019.
