Rays Season Ends As Glasnow Tipped Pitches And Gerrit Cole Was Dealing Once Again
b'Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow was tipping his pitches as the Astros get 4 runs in the first inning and cruise behind Gerrit Cole who went 8 innings, giving up 2 hits including a home run to Eric Sogard, as Houston wins 6-1 to advance to the ALCS. The Rays season is over after getting 96 wins in the regular season and 3 more in the postseason but they should have much of this team back from next season and the younger players getting playoff experience. The Lightning win in Toronto 7-3 as Brayden Point returns on a line with Stamkos and Kucherov that exploded and Rick Stroud is in London with a preview of the Bucs-Panthers game this Sunday.
