breaker breaker one nine or what\'s up spiritual note, Brandon Handley here the voice of a generation, my buddy, Jeremy Todd just just released a podcast with with another one of our mutual friends, Donnie Tuttle. And I thought that was pretty cool simply because, you know, if I recall, I think I introduced those guys, and I got them together. But uh, you know, by way of another mutual friend, it\'s just funny to see how relationships expand. And it\'s funny to see where relationships go. And that\'s not why I pulled over here today, just to just record a quick podcast just to kind of catch up and kind of what\'s on the, in the top of mind kind of stuff, how to calm another conversation this morning. With with a gentleman who I\'m planning on having on the podcast, he does mediumship. But it doesn\'t. That\'s not where it stops, right? Really, it\'s the self discovery journey. And part of that self discovery journey. That\'s such a challenge, I believe to talk about with guests and kind of in particular, and what does it mean to you? is, you know, what does it look like? What\'s the context? And how does somebody get there? And a lot of times, the conversations are pretty, I guess, nebulous. And so this year, on ton of problems that a couple times, it\'s on the way it is happening. I\'ve got these little containers, where I\'m putting different pieces of spirituality, I think they all essentially, look the same. Right? The journey is kind of the same, it\'s just described in a different way. If you look at the the hero\'s journey, I think Joseph Campbell\'s really captured it very well. But it\'s just gonna look and feel different for each person and each person, it\'s gonna shine their own light on it. You know? And when I say it\'s the same, I say, you know, I\'m just trying to think I\'m sitting to think about what what can you shine a light on? And what\'s that look like? I\'m always thinking about crystals that hang from somebody\'s mirror. I remember growing up as a kid, my mom had those on there, rainbows will always be shining through these quartz crystals that were hanging from the rearview mirror. But there\'s a number of different crystals. And so when I say these stories are the same, like that\'s the same as saying like, all crystals are the same. They have a similar structure. Right? But on the outside, they look different but the inside they have a similar structure, Crystal and structure, right? That\'s what makes them crystals. So yeah, this guy\'s told me a story. And I said, Yeah, I get it, man. Your story. It\'s, it\'s, and not to make somebody not feel important or you know, it\'s a wonderful story. But it\'s the story of self evolution. It\'s the story of Self Realization, actualization, those. Those are the words that we want to use. We don\'t want to use the words in my opinion. Evolution, you\'ve already evolved. Tada, you\'re already fucking there. Full stop you already there. It\'s a the whole Buddhist thing. Everyone\'s a Buddha. Just you\'ve got to realize and recognize and become aware of your Buddha nature. This is what he was saying. He was talking about just the awareness of the truth of who you are. This is in Maslow\'s hierarchy of needs. The top of the pyramid is not, hey, I\'m fully fucking satisfied. It\'s realization, self actualization. Right. Who\'s a yogi? She\'s Autobiography of a Yogi, right? What\'s the name his foundation? It\'s SFR is self you know, CSRF Self Realization foundation. Right? These journeys that we spent so much time on, out on the external. Most of most of your life has been focused on the external journey and this includes his or her as breathwork would have it as a tie in here, and the work that I\'ve been doing, as breathwork would have it. That journey

has been 98% external, your journey 98% of it external? How do you look? How do you how do you appear to others? What is your job on the outside? What are what are all these things? And you what can you get? That\'s the external journey. And it\'s a limited finite journey. And I don\'t know, it\'s cool, don\'t get me wrong, Ben the cool places done cool things, I\'m sure you have to show you\'ve done amazing shit. You don\'t seen some cool shit. But the internal journey has been like severely lacking. And that\'s that journey to the center of the self, right? How many licks does it take to get to the center tootsie pop kind of thing. And it all it all depends, and everybody\'s journey is gonna be different. It\'s gonna be, it\'s 100% subjective. They\'re gonna see it, and only the way they can see it. They\'re the only ones that can go on that journey. But the process and the journey is pretty much the same for everybody. Right. And so what I\'m excited about having that gentleman on is that he does a really good job describing the journey, kind of what it looks like, in the brief conversation that he and I had, he described it very well, you know, kind of his job is to kind of get you to recognize the truth of who you are. And there\'s, there\'s unknowingness that comes along with that. And I don\'t have the book in front of me right now. But it\'s another one of the books I\'m going through that\'s breeding, you know, I don\'t know, some sell fucking Heelan book or whatever breeds eel. It\'s actually really good. But you know, if you come to my house right now, there\'s like no breeding, you know, healing books and chakra books and self alignment and all this other stuff. And a lot of it\'s science based, but there\'s also this, this aspect of mysticism, this mystery that surrounds it, when there\'s not a whole lot of mystery, it\'s just you got to have that experience for yourself kind of thing. Right? The experience of riding a bike can only really be conveyed by riding the bike, you know, now, if you\'ve ridden a bike, what that feels like, somebody describes it to you, you\'re like, oh, yeah, that\'s, that\'s sounds like riding a fucking bike. Right? And you won\'t know until you\'ve had some of these other experiences. What it feels like, until you have the experience, you won\'t understand somebody describing them until you\'ve had the experiences. Right? And then you kind of recognize like, yeah, oh, wow. Yep. Yep. Nailed it. Nailed it. Nailed it. Stuck the landing on that one. And you know, this, this, this, this knowingness also comes in, in the breath work, it comes in other I think other things as well. Any kind of activities that you\'re trying to, to do. And I think of breath work. And I think of jujitsu. And you can think of I think just about anything where you\'ve been trying to you\'ve been trying to nail something, it\'s not until you do it. And you\'re like that, that was it. That was I just did the thing. And I just, I think of algebra all the time in this. Just solve the fucking equation. The light goes on, you\'re like, oh, shit, that was it. That was so easy. And you look back. And you can\'t you it\'s so hard to go back. Because now you\'ve got like, this knowledge of the thing. And you can\'t it\'s like, you know, it\'s like going to the fucking matrix. You can\'t go back. Right? You\'re like, oh, no, I\'ve always always been here. It\'s always been like this. And the truth of the matter is yes, it has always been like this. It\'s just your awareness of it hasn\'t been there, right? Your capability to do the thing always exists. And, you know, it\'s just you\'ve got to enable it and activate it right? Self activation is the other thing that you see thrown out a lot. Anyways,

the journeys, it\'s, it\'s the structure is pretty much the same for everybody. The story gets told pretty much the same, same elements of the story for everybody. But, you know, it\'s a little bit different and how somebody sees the story and tells the story and what the specifics were. So I guess you could say that the framework or the outlines pretty much the same and you\'re going to be able to find like the these specific elements in everybody\'s story, they\'re almost all going to be in almost the same order. But just a different different journey. So I guess that\'s what I kind of pulled over. So I just wanted to get something out there and have a conversation. I know, I haven\'t, you know, I guess I\'m Jones and a little bit on my, on the podcast interviews, I\'ve got some new resources to reach out to some people, I\'ve got some people lined up. Another big shout out to, you know, again, I called out Jeremy Todd, and Donnie, because those are a couple guys that, you know, when I think of the beginning of this podcast journey, Jeremy Todd was my number, I think he might have been my first guest. And when I go back to thinking about how he was, he was trying to figure out his microphone and how I was trying to figure out recording it and what a shit yo was. But um, you know, he\'s, he\'s, he\'s ranked up there very high. And I\'m super happy with my podcast, and I\'m just excited to kind of be here, doing this journey, sharing the stories. And, you know, hopefully helping you to find your, you know, inner bliss, your inner joy, your, you know, being there with you on your journey. As I go all the way back to the beginning of this of spiritual dope. And I think about the whole idea of, you know, when you\'re on your, your journey, when you when you believe that there\'s something greater than, you know, kind of like your immediate surroundings, but you\'re, you\'re looking for ways to validate it and, and, and somewhere along the lines, you validate it or you feel like you validated it, and then you\'re like, oh, shade have I just crossed the edge does this go over the border? My fucking crazy now? No, you know, you\'re, you\'re, you\'re experiencing yourself and you\'re, you\'re experiencing, you know, this, this ultimate connection, Journey to the Center of you. And, you know, for lack of better terminology, the journey is the center of the universe. And so that\'s what we\'re here for. That\'s what we\'re doing. Happy to have you here. And we\'ll catch up at some other time.
