Produced by http://Fastpitch.TV - In part three of Bill Hillhouse\'s pitching clinic he talks about the basics of pitching and his theories and methods to pitching. You can buy softball bats at http://SoftballJunk.com.
In this part Hillhouse talks about how to move the arm in a good perfect circle and where to touch the arm to make sure that is going in a good circle. He says that to get a good circle motion if you touch the top of your arm to your ear and your forearm to your belly than you know that you have made a good circle and it will reduce any pain that a softball pitcher may have in their arm because of try to over stress their muscles. \\xa0
Hillhouse also talks about foot work and how to get the least amount of resistance possible with the drag that has to happen. Since leaping and crow hopping is illegal he says to drag only the tip toe of the foot so that there is less resistance and you can get more distance towards the catcher. \\xa0
He also talks about the finish and how he thinks that you should not release straight up but actually release almost across the body. He says to snap their arm across the body to get the most power behind the softball.
He also mentions the three drills he thinks will help the pitcher develop the skills the best. He teaches the sideways "k", the sideways circle and the walk through pitch.
