Since our last pod, things have not gone well. They have dropped 5 straight, and now sit 4.5 games back with 5 teams ahead of them for the final Wild Card spot. The Mariners now open up a 9 game homestand after spending almost all of August on the road. Jerry Dipoto made a move to sure up the rotation now, and to get a jump start on a mediocre 2017 Free Agent SP class.
