The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library opened in 2003 as the cornerstone of the University, the public library's downtown branch, and thus an anchor institution in San Jose. This session answers the question of how the world's largest joint university/city library remains true to their unique missions and how it addresses the challenges of diverse clientele, innovation, and budget cuts.
