Reginald Ryder is a 30-year higher education professional, a college professor, and an author. Ryder is a 1st Generation student. His expertise is working with students as they transition from high school to work, 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities. His business Thriving Life Coaching is an academic readiness coaching business helping students become their best in high school and college. Their motto is \u201cEvery Student Needs A Little TLC.\u201d Ryder offers a 15 min free consultation to potential coaching clients.

2019 and 2020, Ryder wrote a book called Passing the Baton, A Guide and Memoir of College Success, it is written from many perspectives:

Upon its release in July 2020, Ryder\u2019s book was the best new release in two categories on Amazon - Study Skills and Adult and Continuing Education. This book is used in conjunction with the business. His current clients are high school and college students in MD, VA, CA, the District of Columbia, and Mexico. Ryder also consults with Summer Bridge Programs, College Preparatory organizations, Community Colleges, Foundations, and Non-Profit agencies.

He has helped hundreds of students understand how to complete college successfully. These strategies and tools prepare students with a greater chance of success.
