Over the years that I’ve been fortunate to coach people in mindfulness and compassion and watch their lives change, one curious misconception has come up many times.

The idea that in order to be mindful, we must move slowly (and therefore will be less productive in our lives), is purely false and nothing could be further from the truth.

In the first segment of today’s episode, I talk about this misconception and how to hurry mindfully whenever you need to.

In the second segment, I give you a hilariously frustrating example of how the confirmation bias shows up in our moment-to-moment experience.

I also discuss some of the other implicit biases we all have and how to work with those too.

Enjoy!

If you feel like you want to get some support in doing these practices, there’s a link below to schedule a call with me so I can guide you to the program that’s right for you!

If you would like to learn more about these practices I talk about, I encourage you to get in touch.

Some people are well capable of developing these skills on their own, but most of us need a little guidance, motivation, and accountability in order to stick with it long enough for the skills to take root as habits.

If you feel like you could use some coaching, your first session is on me.

In fact, I’ve already bought the first session for you!

All you have to do is claim it.

And you can do that by clicking this link:

Coaching can be one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences a person can have!

And I have several reviews to back this statement up. (you can read them here):
