No matter how long we practice or how much we grow, the trauma responses we\\u2019ve developed can be triggered at any given moment.

And before I go any further, it\\u2019s vital to recognize that these trauma responses, from the addictions to the automatic people-pleasing I discuss in one of today\\u2019s segments, are not your flaws.

In fact, it\\u2019s just the opposite!

The trauma responses we\\u2019ve created and developed are our own genius means of survival.

\\n

So you should be proud of your trauma responses!!!

\\n

But you should hold these responses in your loving self-awareness so that you can see when they\\u2019re not serving you any longer.
