Many people consider meditation to be a practice we do to make us feel better: to lower stress, relax our minds, and ease the tension in our bodies.

While these effects will often result from meditation practice, they are certainly not the only - or even the most important - reasons to meditate.

The far extreme of the idea of meditation for \\u2018bliss\\u2019 is something we refer to as \\u2018bliss bypass\\u2019
