Of all our implicit biases, the most powerful - especially for the victims of trauma and CPTSD - is the Negativity Bias.
\\nThis implicit bias is nothing more than your brain trying to keep you safe by noticing the negative aspects of your experience more than the positive.
\\nThe trouble begins when we start to believe that our lives are filled with more negative than positive experiences.
\\nIn today\\u2019s episode, I talk about how awareness of this bias, and the neutralization of it, can happen through practicing gratitude:
