Most of us consider ourselves to be kind and compassionate people.

We hold doors for people\\u2026

We say please and thank you\\u2026

\\n

We offer assistance where we see it needed.

\\n

But at the same time, most people have two distinct thresholds that we refuse to cross with our kindness and compassion.

\\n

The first threshold is in front of us, where we refuse to offer our compassion to people who have done harmful things to ourselves or other people.

\\n

The second threshold is where we refuse kindness and compassion for ourselves in times of difficulty.

\\n

In today\\u2019s episode, I talk about these thresholds and how it\\u2019s important and helpful to cross them:
