I think my story is pretty common, actually.

I think most people grow up behind a sort of mask we wear to please those around us.

For me, it was my compassion that I felt needed to be hidden so I could be a tough guy like all the men in my family.

And over the years, that kindness, forgiveness, and compassion that felt so right to me, was covered up so well and so deeply that I came to forget I was hiding it at all.

In today’s episode, I tell a story from Jack Kornfield that illustrates this point quite well:

The really beautiful thing about all of this is that no matter how long we’ve been covering our true authentic self, we can find it again easily and quickly through some very simple practices.

Not only are the practices simple, they feel really good too!

So if you’d like to learn more about these practices, or if you have any questions about anything I’ve covered here, please consider claiming your free coaching session with me.

What’s that? What free coaching session?

I have made available to each and every one of my listeners a 45-minute virtual coaching session.

It can be done over the phone or by zoom.

It can be a life-changing event.

It can bring you clarity and hope.
