I used to wake up almost every morning with the same feeling.

\\n

Always run down and tired from all the busyness and stress I was experiencing; always exhausted from overthinking everything, I would wake up with a feeling of dread.

\\n

I dreaded the low energy of the day\\u2026

\\n

I dreaded how difficult it would be\\u2026

\\n

Even before I got out of bed, on many mornings I would long to just fast forward to the moment when I was right back under the covers and going to sleep for the night.

This led to an endless cycle of feeling that I just needed to \\u2018get through\\u2019 the day.

The result was decades of just trying to survive the day.

And in today\\u2019s episode, I talk about how damaging this was to me and how I often think about what I might have missed along the way:

Curiosity reduces or eliminates the fear that leads to damaging stress.
