Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

\\nThis quote is so important to me!!!
\\nBack when I struggled with chronic stress, one of the strongest effects on me was the feeling that I never had enough time, no matter the circumstances.
\\nEven when I was on vacation, I felt like I always had to rush through everything.
\\nBack then, I saw life as just something that I needed to get through. Something I needed to survive.
\\nWhen I discovered mindfulness practices, I learned one of the most valuable lessons of my life and a lesson I share with each and every person I teach: I learned to pause.
\\nAnd in cultivating the skill of the pause, everything slowed down and time actually seemed to expand!
\\nAnd of course, I found the time for my own happiness and well being.
\\nBut this doesn\\u2019t mean that I never have to hurry or rush!
\\nIn today\\u2019s episode I talk about moving quickly with mindfulness:
