I am very fortunate to get to teach the methods and practices of mindfulness and compassion to a lot of people.

And I always giggle when it seems, to almost everyone, that this is when we \'start\\u2019 practice.

Of course, it\\u2019s true that this is when people start \\u2018This\\u2019 practice.

But it\\u2019s also very true that we\\u2019ve all been practicing something for our whole lives.

And whatever we\\u2019ve been practicing our whole lives has become our automatic emotional reaction.
