Teaching children mindfulness practices gives them the tools they need to regulate their emotions through presence, acceptance, and curiosity.

Teaching children compassion practices gives them very similar tools to use in their interpersonal relationships for their whole lives.

\\n

And teaching children self-compassion gives them the same vital tools to use in their relationship with themselves.

\\n

All three of these are scientifically known to cultivate wellness and reduce the health risks associated with chronic stress.

\\n

And all three will create the conditions for happiness and fulfillment so our kids can thrive in this life.

\\n

And isn\\u2019t that the whole point?

\\n

Just like mindfulness, the most effective way to teach our kids these practices is to model it for them. (As the story in today\\u2019s video shows.)
