\\nIf we become so entangled with our own problems, suffering, needs, and desires, we can\\u2019t feel those of another.
\\nIf we live in complete solitude, I guess this might be ok.
\\nBut as human beings, we live in connection with others.
\\nWhether it is our family, colleagues, neighbors, or any of the various providers of vital services, life requires interaction.
\\nBut without empathy, it is interaction without connection and as a result, we suffer.
