What could possibly go...

RIGHT????

As we plan for events in our lives, or we react to present circumstances in our lives, we find ourselves asking the question: ‘What might go wrong here?’

And while this is a natural and well meaning function of our brains in the interest of keeping us safe, it sets up a negative potential.

You see, to your brain, there is no difference between an actual experience and the thought of an actual experience.

So when you think of the things that might go wrong, your brain is living those things.

Which brings us to another way the brain functions: we determine potential based on past experience.

This means that your brain will think that the only potential outcomes to this experience are negative.

So one way we can give our brain some positive experience on which to base a positive outcome is to ask: ‘What could possibly go right here?’
