Hello, friends.

\\nGiven today\\u2019s date, I wanted to share some thoughts and information on how mindfulness can help us process, cope with, and ultimately heal from loss.
\\n
\\nWhether loss of loved ones, loss of a job, loss of material possessions, or loss of simple pleasures, loss is part of life.
\\n
\\nAnd so is the grief that arises from it.
\\n
\\nFor most of us, the instinct is to avoid the feelings of this grief.
\\n
\\nOf course, this is understandable. Because it hurts.
\\n
\\nBut when we try to distract ourselves from the grief, we don\\u2019t allow ourselves to heal.
\\n
\\nIn today\\u2019s videos, I offer three practices to process loss and grief.
\\n
\\nBut if you take nothing else from me today, please take this:
\\n
\\nAllow yourself to turn towards the grief, despite the pain. Hold space for yourself. Give yourself some time. Let the grief in.
\\n
\\nI promise you: while it may be painful to do this right now, in the long run you\\u2019ll be far better off for it.
