As we learn to dwell in the present and pay attention to what IS, as opposed to what MIGHT BE or what COULD HAVE BEEN, we develop a very important skill.

\\nOur stress comes from the emotion of fear - fear of an undesired outcome, or fear resulting from the shame of past mistakes or missed opportunities.
\\n
\\nAs we practice paying attention to NOW, and doing so without judgment, we develop the skill of accepting (for now) the things we don\\u2019t want and letting go of the obsessive clinging to the things we feel we do want.
\\n
\\nThe result is freedom from stress and alignment with our truest self.
\\n
\\nAnd this is where our success and happiness reside.
