Today\\u2019s post comes from another request, and I\\u2019m thrilled about it!!!

\\nCindy, my client, friend, and YouTube subscriber asked me to create a video that talks about how mindfulness can help with the art of apology.
\\n
\\nSpecifically, Cindy wants to know how mindfulness can help us apologize in a way that makes the person to whom we\\u2019re apologizing feel felt and heard.
\\n
\\nAnd I think it\\u2019s an excellent question because most of us have a tendency to apologize AND justify our words or behavior in the same action.
\\n
\\nAnd this definitely detracts from the experience of the person to whom we are apologizing.
\\n
\\nWhile the skills of mindfulness and emotional intelligence will certainly help avoid this shame driven habit, an apology can actually be a mindfulness practice in and of itself.
\\n
