As a teacher and practitioner of mindfulness AND heartfulness, compassion is very important to me.

\\nAnd while I see compassion as a 360\\xb0 intention, abundant research is showing self compassion, specifically, to be associated with many aspects of psychological health.
\\n
\\nIncreased happiness, life satisfaction, curiosity, and optimism, and decreased anxiety, depression, rumination, isolation, and eating disorders are topped by what I feel is the most important benefit of all: emotional resilience.

\\nAnd the best news of all about self compassion is that it\\u2019s so easy to practice!!!

\\nNot only is it easy, but it feels great, too!!!
