I know many of you are hurting today...it’s been a tough day for all of us. Some of you are probably scared for your and your family’s health, while others might have lost your entire life’s savings...this is tough.

I have lost over 50% of my savings today...but that’s okay. That’s life, and I know I’ll get through it. I know you’ll get through this too, together we will get through this.

In times like these, it’s tough to find strength and clarity. It can be impossible to find that solid ground...just for a minute...when it seems like everything around is falling apart. Yes! Today’s events seem like the perfect storm, but I guarantee you that we’ve been here before...you’ve been here before.

Now, it may not have been this drastic and amplified, where everything from health and wealth and our entire concept of life is at jeopardy, but you’ve faced this before...in pieces. You’ve faced hard times before. Individually, you may have lost money in a bet with a friend in the past, but you recovered, or had a severe illness, and got healthy again, you may have been rejected from jobs and opportunities, but you prevailed. You have survived in each one of those situations independently...only difference now is that they’ve all appeared together, in one instance.

In rare times like these, I urge you to find that same energy, mindset, and self-reliance that got you through those individual problems last time. Dig deep and refresh those same forces that helped you survive each one of those headwinds...combine that energy, and let it power you today.

Second, know that you’re lucky. We are lucky. If you are listening to this audio, this podcast, by default you’re one of the lucky few. Billions of other young and old people around the world are facing the same headwinds with even dire circumstances. War. Famine. Poverty. To name a few. Find strength in knowing that you’re lucky, you have the means and resources to survive...millions, your age, don’t. Take this strength, stand up, and help those who are not so lucky and could use it most.

Finally, sometimes, life feels like a video game. A video game that can often end in Game Over. Game. Over. We’ve all been there before, virtually. But, we shrug off the loss and hit New Game. Sometimes in real life you also have to hit New Game. You have to be at peace with New Game. It’s okay. We are a resilient bunch, we reset and we rebuild.

Same team, run it back. New Game.

Stay safe, find strength, stand up, new game. All the best.
