Air Date: December 23, 2019

In this all-inclusive episode of the Make Space Podcast, I get to sit down for tea with Laura Carmody founder of the womb-centric business, Priestessing the Paradigm Shift.

Laura is a Menstrual Empowerment Educator residing in Ashland, Oregon. She serves at the Goddess Temple of Ashland as Red Tent Outreach Coordinator.

Her multitude of offerings includes: One-on-one and group training in the Priestess Arts & Red Tent Mysteries, bringing educational Red Tent Bleeding Spaces to festivals & events, and managing the fundraiser “Women, Wombs, & Water”, which brings sustainable menstrual hygiene management & education to under-resourced communities.

In this episode, we dive deep into the reasons why menstruation needs to be normalized in society and why she welcomes ALL gender identifying humans in the red tent.

We talk about how to honor menstruation with or without a womb, and what she’s doing to make space for priestesses of color in these spaces.

She also drops some knowledge on the importance of leaving “white saviorism” at the door when visiting other countries.
