The big lesson from this episode: being a nanny is insanely hard work. This week I spoke to Cristina Marcolina and Caitlin McClusky. These two wonderful people met while living in Boulder, CO only to find out that they are connected beyond being housemates and fellow nannies. I learned a great deal about the different categories of home care, how different wealthy people run their (sometimes nutty) homes, what kind of boundary setting is necessary, and the deeply personal world you enter while having to maintain a healthy level of professionalism.
