Just over 250 years ago - Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander stepped ashore at Kurnell Peninsula in Botany Bay. Over the next eight days they collected enthusiastically and amassed specimens of 132 plant species from around Botany Bay, Kurnell, Cronulla and the Georges River.
