Refugees. A word that is becoming more and more common everyday. Today, in Running with Rosea, we had Liu Shiyang (Paula) a Spanish Lecturer in The Foreign Language Department at Beijing Foreign Affairs University as our Special Guest talking to us about changes in education and her experience learning Spanish and English as second and third languages. Nick, presented his Words of the Week; asylum, flee, persecution, and others related to the topic of the day, with a game we all enjoyed. Christina, showed us some really interesting Fun Facts about refugees in China. In Rosea Around the World, we had Natalia Cogollos and Gabriela Mancera, two Level 4 Rosea students share an interview with a Rosario University student and his view as a Colombian on the refugees situation. Daniela, presented her Top 5 List of countries with the highest refugee numbers around the world. And finally, Paola played her Song of the Week; No Woman No Cry by The Fugees, a song dedicated to all Refugees worldwide by a band formed by two Hatians and an American who use their lyrics to influence and fight for social change and equality.
