In this episode we\u2019ll be talking about the categories that can be found within the gay community. \n\nWhy are we discussing this and why is this interesting for everyone?\n\nIf you\u2019re a woman and you think the patriarchy only affects you, think again. Within the gay community, you\u2019d assume there wouldn\u2019t be issues of gender-like discrimination because\u2026 they all have penises. So, like, problem solved- right? Instead we find the unwieldy construction of a quasi-female category. \n\nWhy, you ask. Good question. \n\nTo create a power dynamic. There is a fixation on hyper-masculinity on dating apps but also within the real world and apparently having a penis isn\u2019t enough to run away from patriarchal issues. \n\nWhy, you ask again. \n\nWell, damn. What a question.
