The University of Otago is postponing graduation ceremonies and parades this week, following last week's security threat. Four graduation ceremonies were planned for this week from Wednesday to Saturday. To date neither the university nor the Police have confirmed the nature of the threat. Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne says in a statement the university remains working closely with the Police. The news comes after a difficult year for students affected by Covid-19.
