Scientists have recovered the first significant samples from an asteroid in space. The Japanese space capsule returned to Earth, landing in Australia after a six year journey. The rocks could help explain the creation of the solar system. Dr Nick Rattenbury is a senior lecturer at Auckland University's physics department.
