Opposition voicing fears about possible hate speech legislation

The Royal Commission into the Christchurch terror attack has released its findings and reccomendations. A recommendation of the Royal Commission is that a new offence of hate speech be introduced, but Opposition parties are already voicing fears it could impose on people's freedoms.
