Magazine industry rebounds despite lockdowns

The magazine industry has rebounded, with 20 new titles published in the past few months. In April, Bauer, the country's largest player in the market made the shock announcement it was closing its doors, shutting down The Listener, New Zealand Woman's Weekly, Metro and North and South. But from those depths, there're now new shoots emerging, says Sally Duggan executive director of the Magazine Publishers Association.
