On Friday, residents in Iceland got an explanation for the thousands of earthquakes that have been shaking them over the past few weeks. After 800 years lying dormant, a volcano has been spewing out red lava, though it's posing no danger to people. Residents are free to hike up a mountain and see the action for themselves. The lava has flowed out of a fissure and into in a valley on the Reykjanes peninsula in southwestern Iceland. Iceland correspondent Ingólfur Bjarni Sigfússon spoke to Guyon Espiner.
